At Jungle Scout, we are on a mission to build the best Amazon competitive intelligence tools for Amazon sellers and brands.

We’re growing and we are looking to add a Manager, Business Intelligence to our analytical and scrappy Finance team.

As the owner of core tools like Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and Segment, you’ll manage and optimize data pipelines, reporting, and advanced analytics, including churn modeling and marketing attribution. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the scalability and integrity of our data systems.

Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST time zone across the United States or Canada.

Performance Objectives:

Data Infrastructure & Analytics

    • Design and implement data models and data architecture to support business scalability and growth.
    • Optimize and maintain ETL/ELT processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
    • Manage and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and Segment.
    • Maintain and enhance data models for ARR, retention, customer usage, customer segmentation, user journeys, and marketing attribution.

Reporting & Insights

    • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for key SaaS metrics.
    • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs for leadership and stakeholders.
    • Develop actionable insights through data analysis and reporting to support key business decisions and drive performance.

Advanced Analytics

    • Build and maintain churn and retention models, predictive analytics, and other advanced insights.
    • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden trends, anomalies, and actionable business opportunities.

Collaboration & Leadership

    • Partner with finance, marketing, sales, and product teams to align on data strategy.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members as needed.

Experience:

  • 8+ years experience in BI, data engineering, or analytics
  • Experience with PLG (Product-Led Growth) and Enterprise SaaS.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in SQL and Python/R
  • Expertise with Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools)
  • Experience with churn modeling, customer segmentation, and marketing attribution.
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks and analysis.

At Jungle Scout, we're committed to fair and transparent compensation. Our base pay ranges are designed to attract top talent and reward exceptional performance. While our baselines are often higher than industry standards, we aim to hire most candidates near this level, considering factors like skills, experience, and expertise.

For this role, our base salary range is the following:

USA - $145,000 to $160,000 USD

Canada - $100,000 to $130,000 CAD
